Bib ‘n’ Elephant.

As planned, I made something for my friend’s baby!

I cut out the simple patterns. (The bear was cut at the same time but not part of the project).

I used a soft, white fleece. Stupid to use it for a bib, but it's so soft!

Back of the bib was made with spotted cotton.

Back of the elephant.
Elephant also completed. Back of the elephant.

I’m new to sewing for young children. And it is different. I fuss over what fabric to use, if it’s safe, is it durable, is it comfortable etc etc. The result is always a compromise – as you can tell – I love the look and feel of pristine white fleece, but oh my, where are stains going to hide? Hahaha…
