Velvet Origami Pouches [No-Sew].

I bought a kit for making no-sew origami pouches with snap-button. The company is called Jasmine. I got the kit from Japan and the instructions were all in Japanese, with some pictures. Unlike other craft kits from Japan, the pictures and steps were just a little too simplified for me. I had to experiment and think about the construction process this time.

I made two pouches. This is the smaller one with less components.

I've made coin purses and pouches before, but this is the first no-sew variant I've made.

I really like the texture of the purses too. The material is black velvet with raised coloured patterns. At the craft shop in Japan, I had to stop myself buying one of each pattern! There are so many. It took a lot of self-control to just get two! These are gifted to my friend and past colleague.
